VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES

LVCC warmly welcomes volunteers in a variety of flexible positions at our 22 center locations and administrative office.

Opportunities are available for individuals, families, civic organizations and corporate teams.

Volunteers can donate any number of hours.

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Volunteers are needed:

IN CLASSROOMS

T.A.K.E. -- the T.A.K.E. program encourages interaction between teens and kids, because we feel that children and teens can learn a lot spening meaningful time together while engaging in a variety of fun activities.  We are looking for teens to volunteer some time between the hours of 3 PM and 5 PM, Monday - Friday.  Interested teens may choose to:
  • teach a child a game
  • show off a talent
  • teach a sport
  • talk about school
  • help with homework
  • sing, dance, draw, or play an instrument
  • start a club, etc.

You set your own schedule!  Volunteer once or make multiple visits.  Interested persons should contact Patti Harper at 610-820-5333 x217.

Share-a-Skill Program -- the Share-a-Skill program encourages adults to visit our centers to share a special skill or hobby.  Some examples might include:

  • candle making
  • juggling
  • sewing
  • cooking
  • playing a sport
  • woodworking
  • scrapbooking, etc.

We are looking for teens to volunteer some time between the hours of 3 PM and 5 PM, Monday - Friday. You set your own schedule!  Volunteer once or make multiple visits.  Interested persons should contact Patti Harper at 610-820-5333 x217.

PAINTING & GARDENING
Helping to beautify LVCC Centers

All volunteers must be 16 year of age or older. To work with children, volunteers who are 18 years or older must obtain Pennsylvania child abuse and criminal background checks.
