Our LVCC at Hays Elementary School location provides before- and after-school care for children, grades K-5, enrolled in Brigadier General Anna Mae Hays Elementary School.  The school-age program offers a safe, fun, and engaging environment to start or end the school day. The program operates from 7:00 am until dismissal to school, and then again at the dismissal of school until 6:00 pm.  Care is also offered on early dismissal days, when school is closed and on snow days.  When the school year ends, LVCC at Salisbury Elementary School also provides full-day summer care.

To support children’s optimal development and school readiness, and address the needs of the local population LVCC in collaboration with the Head Start of the Lehigh Valley offers quality preschool within the school building which follows the ASD operating schedule. An added benefit of having this preschool program within the school is that it helps children have a smoother transition to Kindergarten within the ASD. 

The center is conveniently located within the school, providing a seamless transition between classrooms.  The center provides a wide variety of fun and educational equipment for the children to explore and create.  Homework support is also available for the children that would like to begin homework while they are at the program. LVCC at Hays Elementary has access to the school’s gym and the outdoor playground for daily gross motor recreational play. Meeting your growing child’s nutritional needs, LVCC provides a healthy breakfast and afternoon snack.
